How is the Real Estate Market?

This seems to be the number 1 question from everyone that I run into these days. How is the real estate market? Unfortunately, its not an easy question to answer. I believe that there are "hot pockets" and I beleive there are "slow pockets" in Louisville, KY Metro  and surrounding counties.
